[KB7261] Configure alerts and notifications in ESET endpoint applications

Issue

  • Configure settings for notifications about updates, detected threats, system errors, and app statuses

Solution

To disable Windows Update notifications

ESET alerts are not the same as Windows Update notifications. See the instructions on how to disable Windows Update notifications in ESET endpoint applications.

  1. Open the main program window of your ESET Windows application.

  2. Press the F5 key to access Advanced setup.

  3. Click User Interface → Notifications, expand Application statuses, and click Edit next to Application statuses.

  4. Expand Desktop notifications and configure the settings according to your preferences.

  5. Expand Interactive alerts and configure the settings according to your preferences. Click OK to save the changes and exit the Advanced settings.
