Before upgrading to the latest version of your ESET Endpoint Security for macOS

Migrate settings from an earlier version of ESET Endpoint Security for macOS to the latest version

After upgrading ESET Endpoint Security from version 6 to version 9, the product will revert to its default settings. This means that any customized configurations or policies will be reset to their default values.

ESET PROTECT and ESET PROTECT On-Prem users

Upgrade your ESET Endpoint Security for macOS to the latest version
Deploy or upgrade ESET Endpoint Security for macOS using ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem. Select the appropriate installer package for your ESET Endpoint Security for macOS, and the task will install the latest version over your existing version
Install ESET Endpoint Security for macOS via ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem

On individual client workstations
