[KB2771] Disable the Email client antispam feature in ESET Windows products

Email client antispam in ESET Security Ultimate, ESET Smart Security Premium, ESET Internet Security, and ESET Small Business Security

  1. Disable Email client antispam
  2. Re-enable Email client antispam

I. Disable Email client antispam
Disabling Email client antispam will reduce your computer's protection

We do not recommend that you disable Email client antispam. Doing so will reduce your computer's protection level.

If you disable Antispam, your ESET application will display a yellow status indicating that your ESET application requires your attention. Re-enable Email client antispam as soon as possible.

  1. Open the main program window of your ESET Windows application.

  2. Click SetupInternet protection.

  3. Click the toggle next to Email client antispam to disable it.

  4. From the drop-down menu, select the duration for which the Email client antispam feature will be disabled, then click Apply. The Email client antispam feature is now disabled. We recommend re-enabling it as soon as possible to ensure maximum protection.


II. Re-enable Email client antispam

To re-enable Antispam, click Enable Email client antispam in the main application window.

Alternatively, you can click SetupInternet protection and click the toggle next to Email client antispam to enable it.
