[KB7419] Login failed or slow startup issue on a device with ESET Endpoint Encryption or ESET Full Disk Encryption installed

Issue

  • Single Sign-On (SSO) is not logging you into Windows
  • The computer is slow resuming from a hibernated state or while starting up

Solution

Disabling Windows Fast Startup can help resolve the issue.

  1. Press the Windows key + R.

  2. In the Open field type Control Panel and click OK.

  4. Click Choose what the power buttons do.

  5. Click Change settings that are currently unavailable.

  6. Deselect the Turn on fast startup (recommended) check box and click Save changes.
