[KB512] How do I fix a slow logon time for a computer with Utimaco SafeGuard Private Disk after installing ESET software?

Solution

If you have installed ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus on a computer with Utimaco SafeGuard Private Disk software, you may experience slow Windows logon times due to the time required to scan the Utimaco SafeGuard PrivateDisk application.

To address the issue, exclude scanning of the following files and folders of SafeGuard PrivateDisk application:

C:Program FilesUtimaco
C:Program FilesUtimacoSafeGuard PrivateDiskprivatediskm
