[KB8578] Install a new ESET Inspect Server with a new IP address

Issue

• Install a new ESET Inspect Server with a different IP address than the original

Solution

1. Stop the ESET Inspect On-Prem service on the original ESET Inspect Server machine.

2. Turn off your original ESET Inspect Server machine.

3. Download the ESET Inspect Server installer, run it on the new server machine and continue with the installation process.

4. Create a policy in ESET PROTECT On-Prem to connect ESET Inspect Connectors to the new ESET Inspect Server.

5. Log in to the ESET Inspect Server Web Console and verify that the connection works as expected and the new server is functioning correctly.

6. Uninstall or decommission the original ESET Inspect Server.
