- Verify the prerequisites or perform the required actions
- Install ESET Inspect Connector from a Linux terminal
- Assign the ESET Inspect Connector an ESET PROTECT On-Prem policy that allows communication with ESET Inspect Server
I. Prerequisites
- Deploy ESET Management Agent
- Deploy the ESET Endpoint product
- Activate ESET Inspect Connector with an ESET Inspect subscription: create a Product Activation task or contact your ESET PROTECT On-Prem administrator.
II. Install ESET Inspect Connector from a Linux terminal

Download the ESET Inspect Connector installation file.

Copy the installation file to the desired computer.

Open the terminal in the folder containing the installation file.

Run the following command to get full access to the installation file:
sudo chmod 777 ei_connector_linux.sh -
Run the following command to run the installation file:
sudo ./ei_connector_linux.sh
III. Assign the ESET Inspect Connector an ESET PROTECT On-Prem policy that allows communication with ESET Inspect Server
