[KB7264] Configure your ESET product during system installation using the Sysprep tool (9.x–10.x)

Solution

Your ESET product should not be a part of the operating system image while configuring and deploying the Windows operating system using the System Preparation Tool (Sysprep tool). You should install any antivirus software on your computer after the operating system installation is complete.

However, if you choose to include ESET antivirus software into the system image and avoid any conflicts, deactivate ESET Self-Defense to create the system image successfully:

  1. Open the main program window of your Windows ESET product.

  2. Press the F5 key to access Advanced Setup.

  3. Click Detection Engine → HIPS.
