- Disable protection in ESET endpoint applications temporarily for troubleshooting purposes
Solution

If the device where you want to pause the protection is managed through ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem, ensure that the Override mode is enabled in the policies currently applied to the device.

In the Windows taskbar, click the Show hidden icons arrow, right-click the ESET Endpoint application icon and click Pause protection.

Choose for how long you want to pause the protection and click Apply.
