[KB8516] You receive the re-enrollment error using ESET Endpoint Security for Android

Issue

  • You are trying to re-enroll a device to a different ESET PROTECT On-Prem instance
  • You are trying to re-enroll a device enrolled to an ESET PROTECT On-Prem instance, but using a re-enrollment link generated for a different device 

Solution

  1. We recommend that the user should not uninstall ESET Endpoint Security for Android.

    Check with your administrator before uninstalling ESET Endpoint Security for Android. Be aware that changing the ESET PROTECT Server could be a security issue.

  2. Uninstall and reinstall the ESET Endpoint Security for Android mobile app.
