[KB3444] Add, edit, or delete a Whitelist entry in ESET Windows home products (15.x – 16.x)

Issue

Details

User's address list in antispam protection enables you to add email addresses or domains as Allowed. Allowed email addresses or domains are considered safe. Messages from these addresses will not be blocked automatically and will be delivered successfully to your inbox.

Version 15.1 and earlier users:

Upgrade your ESET product to the latest version. In the latest version of ESET Windows home products, the User's Whitelist, Blacklist, and Exceptions list are merged into the User's address list. When creating a rule, you can select from the following options:

  • Allow (Whitelist) - Addresses that are considered safe and from whom you want to receive messages.
  • Block (Blacklist) - Addresses that are considered unsafe and from whom you do not want to receive messages.
  • Exception (Exception List) - Addresses that may be spoofed and used for sending spam.
