Issue

Solution

Register your software for whitelisting service

ESET provides a whitelisting service by which you can submit your software to minimize the chances of false positives, for example, when your software is being downloaded.

If you want to register your software for whitelisting, follow the instructions below:

  1. Wait for our Whitelist Account Administrators to reply to your email. If this is the first time you are submitting a software whitelisting registration form you will also receive your FTP account credentials in the reply.

  2. Use your FTP account to upload the product you want to whitelist with ESET. Submit your files to the appropriate folder, for example, the one carrying your product name. All folders are being scanned regularly and files are moved to our collection of accepted software. When selecting files to upload, follow the criteria included in the reply to your registration email.

To ensure the successful and timely processing of your request, include all of the abovementioned data and follow all instructions for uploading in the ESET-provided instructions in the reply to your registration email. Be aware that any unrelated requests sent to whitelist@eset.sk will not be processed.
