How do I Download and Install ESET Mail Security 4.5 for Microsoft Exchange Server?

Issue

End of support for version 4 and earlier of ESET Mail Security products

The Antispam functionality in ESET business products version 4 and earlier will reach end-of-life March 31, 2018. After this date, the Antispam protection will no longer function but the products will continue to receive detection updates to protect against malware until December 2018.

Solution

I. Download ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server

  1. Check your operating system version and have your ESET-issued username and password ready; reference your confirmation email for this information. If you forgot your username or password, visit our Lost License page

  2. Request the installer file from your local ESET partner. How can I contact my local ESET partner for support?

  3. Remove previously installed antivirus software. It is important that any previously installed antivirus software is uninstalled from your system before installing your ESET product.

II. Install ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server

    Usernames and Passwords

Remember to enter your Username and Password exactly as they are written:

    • The username and password are case sensitive
    • The hyphen in the username is necessary
    • The password is ten characters long and all lowercase
    • If you are copying and pasting, make sure you don't select an extra blank space
    • We do not use the letter L in passwords (use the number one (1) instead)
    • A big '0' is the number zero (0); a little 'o' is the lowercase letter o
