Uninstall your ESET home product in Windows 8

Details

  • Uninstall your ESET home product in Windows 8 and 10 (images below are specific to Windows 8 users). 

Solution

 Are you a Windows 10 user?

Version 6.x or later

Video tutorial

  1. From the Start screen, press the Windows key + W to search for settings.
     
  2. Type Add or remove programs into the search bar and click Add or remove programs from you search results.

  1. Select your ESET product and then click Change.

  1. In the Setup window, click Next.

  1. Click Remove.

  1. Select a check box for the reason that you are uninstalling ESET and click Next.

  1. Click Remove.

  1. Click Finish. Once uninstallation is complete, restart your computer. If you need to reinstall your ESET product, see one of the following Knowledgebase articles:

Version 5.x

  1. From the Start screen, press the Windows key  + Z and click All apps.

  1. Use the scroll bar to browse to the ESET section of the Apps screen and click Uninstall.

  1. Click Next and then click Remove in the Setup window.

  1. Select a check box for the reason that you are uninstalling ESET and click Next, and then click Remove to begin uninstallation. Once uninstallation is complete, restart your computer. If you need to reinstall your ESET product, see the following Knowledgebase article:
