ESET removed support for Windows Server 2008 SP2 and Microsoft SBS 2008 SP2 in ESET PROTECT 8.1 and ESET PROTECT Cloud. The ESET Management Agent installed on your machines running these operating systems may be automatically upgraded from version 8.0 to 8.1, which will stop the ESET Management Agent from connecting to the ESET PROTECT Server and machines will not be managed anymore.
If you want to continue managing machines running Windows Server 2008 SP2 and Microsoft SBS 2008 SP2 with ESET PROTECT 8.1 and later, Download the ESET Management Agent version 8.0 and install it on your machines running these operating systems. When you downgrade the ESET Management Agent on the affected operating systems, the auto-upgrade feature will be disabled and ESET Management Agent will not be automatically upgraded to the latest version.
You cannot manage unsupported operating systems with ESET PROTECT Cloud.
