- You try to activate ESET Endpoint Antivirus for Linux or ESET Server Security for Linux, but receive a "License overused" error message
Solution
If you cannot activate ESET Endpoint Antivirus for Linux or ESET Server Security for Linux due to the “License overused” error, perform the following solutions:
- Remove the license or deactivate ESET products on unused devices via ESET PROTECT Hub or ESET Business Account
- To free up license seats, uninstall ESET Endpoint Antivirus for Linux or uninstall ESET Server Security for Linux on unused devices manually
- Renew or extend your license

When the license is no longer overused, try to activate it again.
