[KB7561] Email Users in ESET Endpoint Encryption Server

Issue

ESET Endpoint Encryption (EEE) Client and EEE Server are separate products from ESET Full Disk Encryption (EFDE)

The article below applies only to the EEE Client or EEE Server and not EFDE.

Visit What's new in ESET Full Disk Encryption to view EFDE content.

  • You want to use the ESET Endpoint Encryption Server to email users with their activation code/link or their Full Disk Encryption log in credentials

Solution

  1. Log in to ESET Endpoint Encryption Server.

  2. Click Control Panel.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. In the SMTP Server section, click the Configure SMTP Server check box.

  5. Enter your SMTP server settings in the blank fields.

  1. Click Save.

  2. Enter your email address next to Test Email Address and click Send a test email.

  1. You should receive an email from the EEE Server Administrator. If you do not receive an email, verify the SMTP server settings you entered in step 5.
