[KB3444] Add, edit, or delete a Whitelist entry in ESET Windows home products
Issue
Details
The whitelist is a list of email addresses or domains that you have designated as legitimate email contacts. Messages from these contacts will not be blocked automatically and will be delivered successfully to your inbox. To more effectively filter spam, use the Whitelist in conjunction with the Blacklist. A blacklist is a list of specific email addresses or domains considered to be associated with spam.
Solution
Add an email address to the Whitelist
- Click Setup → Internet protection.

and select User's Whitelist.
Figure 1-2 - Click Add. In the Email address field, type the email address that you want to add to the Whitelist. In the Name field, type the company or individual associated with the address. Click OK > OK to finish.

Edit a Whitelist entry
- Click Setup → Internet protection.
- Next to Antispam protection, click the gear icon and select User's Whitelist.
Figure 2-2 - In the User's Whitelist window, select the email address you want to edit and click Edit. Make any desired changes to the email address or name of the entry and click OK to save your changes.

Delete a Whitelist entry
- Click Setup → Internet protection.

Figure 3-2 - In the User's Whitelist window, select one or more email addresses and click Remove. Click OK to finish.
