What's new

New features and enhancements in ESET Security for Microsoft SharePoint:

The Firewall enables you to define the rules easily with more configuration options. If you are familiar with the concepts of the Firewall in ESET Endpoint Security, the use will be no different to what you already know.

Vulnerability & Patch Management - ESET PROTECT provides a feature where you can run a routine scan on your server with ESET Security for Microsoft SharePoint to detect any installed software vulnerable to security risks. Patch management helps ensure systems and applications are secure against known vulnerabilities and exploits. The actual patching is manual, giving you full control of when the patching takes place.

User Interface layout changes - The Network section of Setup was improved and made more visually pleasing.

ESET PROTECT HUB Support.

Audit log - Deleting any log section will now be tracked in the audit log. It is a standard auditing practice that prevents covering traces after insider attacks and enhances forensic analysis in general.

Automatic Exclusions with the use of arbitrary credentials.

ESET Cluster - Cluster wizard will inform about the result of product activation on individual nodes. Logging improvements related to ESET Cluster and feedback from nodes mainly to improve clarity.

eShell .CSV support - Allows eShell to export logs directly to a .CSV file. This functionality will enable you to aggregate data from multiple servers on a regular basis more efficiently and without the need to reformat the output from eShell manually.

Support for forced check of product auto-upgrades via ESET PROTECT Console.
