Solution

Disable and re-enable Safe Banking & Browsing

Devices with ARM Processors

Safe Banking & Browsing is only supported by Firefox and Microsoft Edge web browsers when a device uses an ARM processor.

  1. Disable the Safe Banking & Browsing feature and restart your computer. Ensure you have this article saved in your browser before you restart your computer.

  2. Click Setup → Security Tools.

  3. Click the toggle next to Safe Banking & Browsing, select Disable permanently from the drop-down menu and click Apply.

  4. Restart your device.

  5. To re-enable Safe Banking & Browsing, click Setup → Security Tools and click the toggle next to Safe Banking & Browsing.

  6. Relaunch a Safe Banking & Browsing protected browser window. To avoid website redirection use Secure all browsers.

  1. If the issue is still not resolved manually uninstall your ESET product and then reinstall as normal.


Use Secure all browsers

Instead of website redirection, you can use the Secure all browsers option to start all supported browsers in a secure mode. This enables you to browse the internet, access internet banking, and make online transactions without being redirected.

  1. Open the main program window of your ESET Windows product.

  2. Click SetupSecurity Tools.

  3. Click the toggle next to Secure all browsers to enable it.
