[KB5712] Disable removable media scanning in ESET Windows home products

Disabling removable media scanning can expose your system to security risks. Use caution when disabling this feature.

macOS users: View instructions for ESET Cyber Security.

Open the main program window of your Windows ESET product.
Press the F5 key to access Advanced setup.
Click Detection Engine → Malware scans, expand Removable media, select Do not scan from the drop-down menu and click OK.
